Description The E.Coli derived recombinant protein contains the Rubella Virus Capsid C regions, 1-123 amino acids and fused to a GST-Tag at C-terminus. Purification Method Rubella protein was purified by proprietary chromatographic technique. Purity Rubella protein is >95% pure as determined by 10% PAGE (coomassie staining). Formulation 20mM imidazol, 8M urea and 0.3M NaCl. Storage Rubella Capsid protein although stable at 4°C for 1 week, should be stored below -18°C. Please prevent freeze thaw cycles. Specificty Immunoreactive with sera of Rubella Virus infected individuals. Applications Rubella antigen is suitable for ELISA and Western blots, excellent antigen for detection of Rubella Virus with minimal specificity problems.
