Description: Human TECK (thymus-expressed chemokine) is a novel CC chemokine that was identified in the thymus of a mouse and a human. The TECK shows chemotactic activity for activated macrophages, dendritic cells, and thymocytes. Human TECK is a 14.2 kDa protein containing 127 amino acid residues.

Biological Activity: Determined by its ability to chemoattract human monocytes using a  concentration range of 1.0-10.0 ng/ml.
Reconstitution: We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution in water to a concentration of 0.1–1.0mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at 4oC for 1 week or -20oC for future use.
Stability: The lyophilized protein is stable for a few weeks at room temperature, but best  stored at –20oC. Reconstituted TECK should be stored in working aliquots at –20oC.
