LDHB catalyzes the oxidation of hydroxybutyrate, and frequently called Hydroxybutyrate Dehydrogenase (HBD). The LDH family consists of three members, LDH-A, LDH-B and LDH-C. LDHs function as powerful markers for germ cell tumors. Description LDHB Recombinant Human produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 354 amino acids (1-334 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 38.8 kDa. The LDHB is fused to 20 amino acid His-Tag at N-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Source Escherichia Coli. Physical Appearance Sterile filtered colorless solution.
