Description: 
The ChromoTek Myc-Trap^® comprises an antibody fragment coupled to agarose beads for immunoprecipitation of Myc-tagged proteins.
 

Specificity:
The Myc-Trap^® recognizes the Myc-tag sequence EQKLISEEDL at the N-terminus, C-terminus, or internal site of the fusion protein. The Myc-Trap^® does NOT bind endogenous c-myc.

Applications:

• Immunoprecipitation/ Co-IP
• Mass spectrometry
• Enzyme activity measurements
• ChIP/ RIP analysis

Bead properties: 
Bead size: ~ 90µm (cross-linked 4% agarose beads)
Storage buffer: 20% EtOH
