The i-Slide™ protein micro-array substrate The i-Slide™ is the worlds premier surface for protein microarray experiments. It overcomes the limitations of current surfaces consisting of nitrocellulose or chemically treated glass, due to it's novel nano-scale surface architecture. The i-Slide™ consists of a surface patterned with many tens of thousands of nano-scale structures, each of which ‘anchors’ one protein. These nano-scale structures are used to influence the spacing, density and orientation of proteins across the surface; helping optimize and control the activity/responsiveness of the proteins throughout the microarray, dramatically improving assay performance. Download the i-Slide Brochure for further details on the i-Slide's unique nano-structured surface. i-Slide User Manual for further information on performance data and optimaized user protocols. The the i-Slide™ is compatible with fluorescent, chemiluminescent, colorimetric or radiographic detection systems and can be used with most microarray scanners and robots. A variety of assays can be performed using the i-Slide™, including sandwich immunoassays, reverse capture immunoassays, protein profiling, and protein characterization. Additional information and protocols on various applications are available upon request. The i-Slide™ enables more efficient and effective protein screens for pre-clinical R&D applications, and also opens the door to new diagnostic applications by enabling the quantitative detection of low concentration protein biomarkers within patient samples. The i-Slide™ provides the ultimate in protein biochip technology for researchers requiring industry leading sensitivity, consistency and reproducibility.
The i-Slide™ is currently available as a 75mm x 25mm slide; however Inanovate's nano-particle substrate technology is available in alternate surface/substrate formats (well's, beads, etc...) on request.
