弗氏完全佐剂/FCA，CAS：9007-81-2，sigma F5881，外观淡黄色至黄色液体，是油包水的乳浊液，每毫升含 1mg 热灭活的干燥结核分枝杆菌 （H37Ra, ATCC 25177）、0.85mL 石蜡油和 0.15mL 二缩甘露醇一油酸。弗氏佐剂可用于制备免疫原的油包水乳液。由于抗原释放缓慢，油包水乳液中的抗原可刺激GX长期的抗体应答， 通常将抗原（优选地溶于盐水中）与佐剂等体积地混合，以形成乳液。弗氏完全佐剂中的分枝杆菌可将巨噬细胞和其他细胞吸引到注射部位，从而增强免疫应答。鉴于此原因，将弗氏完全佐剂用于初始注射，而将弗氏不完全佐剂用于随后的加强注射。
