描述：(±)5-HETrE is an essential fatty acid analogue of arachidonic acid that is readily converted to leukotriene A3 via the 5-lipoxygenase-leukotriene pathway. Studies suggest that (±)5-HETrE has depressive effects on osteoblast activity. In addition, (±)5-HETrE has a potentiating effect on human platelet aggregation as a result of high levels of (±)5-HETrE in the phospholipids of platelets which cause a higher susceptibility of platelets to thrombin-induced aggregation.
