描述：

Akt Inhibitor III is a phosphatidylinositol analog that inhibits the activation of Akt and select downstream substrates without decreasing phosphorylation of PDK-1 or other kinases downstream of Ras, such as MAPK. Akt Inhibitor III also acts as a potent inducer of apoptosis and selectively kills a variety of cancer cell lines that contain high levels of active Akt. When used at a concentration of 10 µM, the compound is reported to activate p38α/SAPK2α MAP kinase. At 10 µM Akt Inhibitor III will also inhibit PKA activity.
