描述：Proteasome Inhibitor VIII, β-Lactam 3 is a β-lactam analog of Proteasome Inhibitor VII, Antiprotealide which acts as a selective and irreversible inhibitor of the 20S proteasome. While the rate of proteasome inhibition is slower than Omuralide, β-lactam 3 displays prolonged aqueous stability and therefore may be better suited for biological evaluation.
