描述：DL-2-Mercaptomethyl-3-guanidinoethylthiopropanoic Acid is a mercaptan analogue which functions as a reversible inhibitor of the human plasma CPN cat (carboxypeptidase, kininase I). In addition, DL-2-Mercaptomethyl-3-guanidinoethylthiopropanoic Acid increases bradykinin-induced hypotension in rats and induced hypertension via amplifying the effects of angiotensin I, angiotensin II and vasopressin. Alternate studies suggest that this acid has an important function biologically by inhibiting the regulatory protein factor I which may initiate the feedback cycle of the alternate pathway.
