描述：D,L-Venlafaxine-d6 is a labeled form of D,L-Venlafaxine , a selective serotonin noradrenaline reuptake inhibitor. This bicyclic molecule facilitates neurotransmission by preventing presynaptic reuptake, resulting in a higher concentration of neurotransmitters located within the synapse. It is known that the neurotransmitters most effected by this inhibitor are norepinephrine and serotonin, which weakly suppresses dopamine at high concentrations. In addition, D,L-Venlafaxine-d6 can be metabolized in to Desvenlafaxine hydrochloride in the liver via the enzyme, CYP2D6.
