The Securisport is the device for realistically and variably examining friction characteristics between the shoe and the ground. The friction characteristic of a particular ground surface with the shoes a player is wearing is of great importance in most kinds of sport. Be it a pitch or a court, if a ground develops too little friction with the shoe, fast acceleration is no longer possible for the athlete and no individual progress will be achieved. However, if a ground provides too much friction, it can be a source of injuries. The contact between the skin and the ground is also noteworthy.
