Cannabidiolic acid (CBDA) is a natural compound found in plants of the genus Cannabis. It is structurally similar to cannabidiol , differing by the addition of carboxylic acid to the central ring. CBDA is produced by the oxidocyclization of cannabigerolic acid by CBDA synthase. It selectively inhibits cyclooxygenase-2 with an IC50 value of 2 μM. CBDA also prevents nausea-induced behavior in rats by enhancing the activation of the serotonin 5-HT1A receptor. This product is intended for forensic and research purposes.
