In human blood, CD1c (BDCA-1) is exclusively expressed on CD11c^high CD123^low myeloid dendritic cells and a small subpopulation of CD19⁺ B cells.¹ Myeloid dendritic cells represent the major subset of dendritic cells in human peripheral blood (about 0.3% of white blood cells). They display a strong T cell stimulatory and cross-presenting capacity.^2–4 The CliniMACS CD1c (BDCA-1)-Biotin Product Line consists of murine anti-CD1c (BDCA-1) monoclonal antibodies conjugated to biotin. One vial contains 5 mL sterile, non-pyrogenic solution. The performance of the CliniMACS CD1c (BDCA-1)-Biotin Product Line depends on the individual separation strategy.
