High-sensitive Detectors for Non-contact Process Measurements
The level detector SENSseries LB 480 is a compact field device combining cutting-edge measurement technology with the highest level of manufacturing quality and innovative features – the best system for high demand applications:
high level and low level switch
continuous level measurements
interface layer measurements
Safety Integrity
The level gauge SENSseries LB 480 is awarded SIL2 certification. The certificate covers point level and continuous level as well as cascaded detector systems. Furthermore the SENSseries system provides many safety features and diagnosis functions such as a “Monitored Current Output” ensuring safe and reliable measurement during the complete time of operation. SIL 3 operation is possible in redundancy installations (1oo2).
Be SENSitive
SENSseries detectors have an outstanding sensitivity resulting in a significantly increased measuring accuracy. This allows for the use of very small source activities – a great advantage in terms of shielding costs and radiation protection matters.
SpeedStar
The product version SpeedStar is used when rapid process changes have to be detected immediately. It offers an unmatched quick measurement with updat rates down to 50ms only. One example of application is to measure the filling level of gas bottles which needs to be done in >100ms due to the quick throughput of the gas bottles.
