JIM4 binds to a set of discreet protein bands MW 20-60 KDa in addition to the smear indicated above. Binding is not competable with monosaccharides. The most competitive oligosaccharide tested to date is the one indicated above. JIM4 also binds to several exudate gums, including gum arabic and gum ghatti.
