【摘要】Ethidium bromide forms a fluorescent complex with double-strand and single-strand DNA while the product forms a fluorescent complex only with double-strand DNA. Thus, the product is used for selective detection and counter staining of double-strand DNA in the presence of ssDNA and RNA. It is more specific to DNA than to RNA in comparison to ethidium iodide or ethidium bromide. It is stable to light although less sensitive than Hoechst. It is possible to perform DAPI staining once and, after observation, to stain with ethidium bromide.The absorbance wavelength shifts and fluorescence intensifies by binding to tubulin. This is a high-sensitivity indicator for in vitro microtubules.The product is used for fluorescent staining of nuclei.Membrane permeable.Measurement wavelength:[lambda]ex = 345 nm, [lambda]em = 455 nm (methanol)[lambda]ex = 359 nm, [lambda]em = 461 nm
