The Maxwell® RSC 48 Instrument works with a variety of sample types, including human blood, cells and tissues. With fast and easy protocols, prefilled cartridges and preprogrammed methods, you get reliable and consistent nucleic acid purification with the flexibility to process only the sample number you need. You can process anywhere from 1 to 48 samples with the Maxwell® RSC 48 Instrument.

Keep Track of Your Samples through Every Step
Create a virtual purification assembly line, preparing Maxwell® cartridges on the Maxprep™ Liquid Handler and purifying them using your Maxwell® RSC Instruments. You can place your instruments anywhere in the laboratory and sample tracking information will be communicated from one device to the next. Simply transfer the Maxwell® RSC deck tray from one instrument to the next and all the sample information will be there ready for you to process.
Sample Tracking
The Maxprep™ Liquid Handler automatically scans the sample bar codes as they are placed into the instrument. Once you scan the desired Maxwell® RCS Kit and the bar code on the Maxwell® Deck Trays, the Promega Portal software does the rest. Portal monitors where each sample is placed in the Deck Tray, what Maxwell® kit was used, and passes this information directly to the Maxwell® RSC or RSC 48 Instrument for walk-up extraction.
Increased Traceability
The Promega Portal software tracks samples as they move from one module to the next. The Portal software automatically shares sample IDs and recommends protocols for next steps as you move from one module to the next.

With a comprehensive menu of service and support options, you can be confident that your equipment will be working properly and ready when you need it. Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ) and Preventive Maintenance (PM) services ensure that your instrument is fully functional and provide documentation that the instrument is operating to defined specifications.
The Maxprep™ Liquid Handler is installed by qualified Promega personnel who will test the instrument, document installation actions and train lab personnel to successfully operate the instrument.
