Unlike mammalian fibrinogens, this product should not be heated for rehydration. Rehydrate |
with dH2O at room temperature or below. Salmon fibrinogen will clot normally at 0°-40° C. |
After rehydrating, hold the amount to be used that day on ice or below 6°C. Aliquot remaining |
fibrinogen and freeze at <-70° C. |
For use with neuronal cells, salmon fibrinogen should be polymerized with salmon thrombin. |
