RealBio D
4 ™ Culture System
The RealBio D4 ™ Culture System facilitates the growth of in vitro cultures thatmimic the natural composition, configuration and function of normal and diseased tissue. The design ensures that cells can be cultured with an ideal mixture of gas and nutrients, delivered independently, to promote healthy, consistent growth, improving the culture quality. Results from testing indicate that our system outperforms other available 2D and 3D technologies.
The System’s 3D matrix supports culture development and incorporation of normal tissue organization, so that cell types within the culture can create varied microenvironments normal for tissue subpopulations – throughout the diffusion gradient.
The 3D matrix also allows for formation of cell-to-cell and cell-to-scaffold (matrix) contacts, as seen in normal tissue. These more natural in vitro cultures demonstrate functionality that more closely mimic an in vivo environment, which can translate into more BioRealistic results for your important research.
The RealBio D
4 ™ Culture System utilizes a 3D matrix to support culture development and incorporation of normal tissue organization.
With this new technology, cell types within the culture have demonstrated the creation of microenvironments normal for the tissue subpopulations, allowing for varied microenvironments through the diffusion gradient.
The 3D matrix also allows for formation of cell-to-cell and cell-to-scaffold (matrix) contacts, as seen in normal tissue. These more natural in vitro cultures demonstrate functionality more closely mimicking an in vivo environment, encouraging more BioRealistic results in application.
- Human stem cells maintained for over a year
- Cells can be harvested throughout the duration of the cultures without adverse effects
- Supports diverse cell preferences for distinctive microenvironments just as in the body
- System easily modified (fabric, perfusion/harvest method, stress, and media) to alter the culture output
- Can be tailored to culture almost any tissue
- Flexible system supports a tailored culture environment
- System supports more relevant drug screening and invitro toxicology testing
