a 25 kDa cytosolic protein that contains one src
homology （SH2） domain a n d two SH3 domains （1）.
GRB2 associates with Tyrosine phosph o r ylated EGFRs
a n d PDGFRs via its SH2 domain. GRB2 also plays a
crucial role in two separate insulin pathways leading
from the insulin recept o r to the Ras protein
thus affecting mitogenic signaling （2）. Additionally GBR2,
a bifunctional adapt o r protein, recruits Sos f o r
Ras activation a n d subsequent signal transmission （3）.
