电机停机时需要消耗这些动能,就可以采用刹车的装置,就象汽车的刹车装置,它的原理是将动能变成热能,来消耗电机轴上的动能。
变频器在带动电动机需要停止时,由于电动机所带的负载是有动能的,要停下电机,就要将这些动能消耗掉,才能使电机停止。
这里就会用到制动单元,带一组制动电阻。其原理也是将动能转变成热能,用制动电阻发热的形式来消耗掉电机上的动能。
如何选择制动单元和制动电阻,有三个因素要考虑:
1、算出了有多大能量需要消耗后,就可以计算出电流,来选择制动单元了;也可以先选制动电阻,再选择与之配套的制动单元。
2、电机轴上的动能有多大:不同负载,电机轴上的动能是不同的,比如,应用于起重机的电机,除动能外,还有物体势能,应该加起来算到电机轴上,这些能量,都要在电阻上消耗掉。
3、,计算出电机动能后,至于要选择多大制动电阻

If the braking time is very short, a relatively large brake resistance is required; otherwise, a small brake resistance can be chosen. It depends on the mechanical requirements.
