产品介绍：Granzyme B is a cysteine protease found in the cytoplasmic lysosome-like granules of cytolytic T lymphocytes （CTL） ａnd natural killer （NK） cells ａnd is is required for the induction of target cell lysis. This occurs as part of cell mediated immune responses, ａnd can activate apoptosis in target cells by both caspase dependent ａnd caspase independent mechanisms.Function : This enzyme is necessary for target cell lysis in cell-mediated immune responses. It cleaves after Asp. Seems to be linked to an activation cascade of caspases （aspartate-specific cysteine proteases） responsible for apoptosis execution. Cleaves caspase-3, -7, -9 ａnd 10 to give rise to active enzymes mediating apoptosis.Subcellular Location : Cytoplasmic granule. Cytoplasmic granules of cytolytic T-lymphocytes ａnd natural killer cells.Similarity : Belongs to the peptidase S1 family.
