Description
Griseofulvin is an insoluble (0.00864 mg/mL) fungistatic antifungal.
Mechanism
The mechanism of action is not well described, but is currently thought to bind to tubulin and interfere with mitosis. In addition, griseofulvin is thought to inhibit synthesis of nucleic acids.
