描述：Indomethacin heptyl ester (indo HE) is a highly selective Cox-2 (cyclooxygenase-2) inhibitor that prevents arachidonic acid metabolism into prostaglandins. Indomethacin heptyl ester has been shown to also reduce the expression and activity of P-glycoprotein (MDR-1) in murine experiments. MDR-1 is an ABC transporter that mediates barrier transport through cell membranes.
