靶点/蛋白：Rabbit anti-Human Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase antibody recognizes human Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD). G6PD has a molecular weight of ~104 kDa, comprised of two subunits of ~55kDa. G6PD is an important enzyme in the pentose phosphate pathway, which catalyses the oxidation of glucose-6-phosphate to ribose-5-phosphate, producing NADPH, a key electron donor in the defence against oxidizing agents. G6PD deficiency is a hereditary, X-linked recessive disorder which can result in acute haemolysis (Beutleret al.1992).
