Serum Calibration Standard for standard method Vitamins A and E in serum/plasma (34000), lyophilised
One Step HPLC method with pre-mixed tubes (34000/Premix), for UHPLC (34900/UHPLC) and for automated methods HPLC (34700/F) as well as UHPLC (34900/F).
This lyophilised calibrator from Chromsystems is based on human serum and should be used according to the instruction manual. It is designed to calibrate the measurement method in clinical diagnostics for the quantitative determination of vitamin A (retinol) and vitamin E (α-tocopherol) in serum/plasma. While following the instructions the calibrator should be handled and measured in the same manner as a patient specimen.

Reconstitution
Carefully remove the metal seal and rubber stopper from the vials. Add exactly 1.0 ml of distilled water into each vial. Return the stopper and incubate for 10 to 15 minutes at room temperature. Swirl the vials to dissolve the contents until homogeneity.
Storage conditions
Stored below –18 °C and unopened, the lyophilised calibrator is stable until the expiry date specified on the vial labels. The reconstituted calibrator can be stored up to 2 weeks light protected and tightly capped at +2 to +8 C. If the calibrator cannot be used within this period, it should be aliquoted and stored frozen below -18 °C (up to 2 months).
