Product DescriptionLS-F31510 is a 96-well enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the Quantitative detection of Rat Adiponectin in samples of Cell Culture Supernatants, Plasma, Serum, Tissue Homogenates and Urine. It is based upon a Sandwich assay principle and can be used to detect levels of Adiponectin as low as 10 picograms per milliliter.
About Adiponectin
Important adipokine involved in the control of fat metabolism and insulin sensitivity, with direct anti-diabetic, anti-atherogenic and anti-inflammatory activities. Stimulates AMPK phosphorylation and activation in the liver and the skeletal muscle, enhancing glucose utilization and fatty-acid combustion.
