Intended Use ** In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) **

Form Chromogen System

Specificity SIGNET’s NBT/BCIP Chromogen system consists of [5-Bromo-4-Chloro-3- Indolyl Phosphate/Nitro Blue Tetrazolium] chromogen in a single component solution. The ready-to-use NBT/BCIP solution reacts in the presence of alkaline phosphatase to produce purple staining with minimal background noise.

2 x 50mL NBT/BCIP Chromogen

Suggested Working Dilution The optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition.

Protocol:
1. Apply the NBT/BCIP solution to the tissue section
2. Incubate the slides for 5-20 min. at room temperature
3. Rinse tissue sections with deionized water
4. Counterstain and mount
5. NBT/BCIP induces a purple precipitate with almost no background
