Phospho-Crebtide Antibody

Product Description: Crebtide (KRREILSRRPSYR) is a substrate peptide derived from protein Creb, which is widely utilized as a synthetic substrate for PKA and PKC kinase family. Affinity purified rabbit polyclonal anti-pCrebtide is developed with phosphorylated Crebtide (KRREILSRRPpSYR) and absorbed with non-phosphorylated Crebtide (KRREILSRRPSYR).

Specificity: The antibody recognizes only the phophophorylated Crebtide product of PKA and PKC in a non-radioactive kinase assay. The is no cross-reaction with the non-phosphorylated Crebtide.

Scientific Description: Creb (cAMP Response Element Binding) proteins are transcription factors that regulate the activities of certain gene transcription. Crebtide is a peptide (KRREILSRRPSYR) derived from Creb protein. PKC kinases phosphorylate Crebtide to phospho-Crebtide
