不对称二甲基精氨酸抗体 Dimethyl Asymmetric Arginine Antibody

Product Description: This antibody is raised from rabbits with immunization of NGNG-dimethyl arginine-KLH conugates and specifically isolated and affinity purified using NGNG-dimethyl arginine antigen. The affinity purified methyl arginie antibodys useful for detection, isolation, localization of proteins with methylated arginine (asymetric dimethylation) residues.

Immunogen: NGNG-dimethyl arginine-KLH conjugates.  

 

Purifications: Antigen-specific immunoaffinity purification with NGNG-dimethyl arginine and adsorbed with NGNG-monomethyl arginine.  

 

Specificity: Recognize proteins with dimethylated arginine residues. Not cross-react with acetylated proteins and monomethylated proteins. 

 

Applications: ELISA(1:2000), Western blot(1:1000),IP(5 μg/mg protein sample), IF(5 μg/mL),IHC(5 μg/mL).

 

Tested: Species, human, mouse and pig.

 

Scientific Description: Arginine methylation is a very common posttranslational modification, that occurs predominantly in the nucleus and the main pool of proteins that are modified in such a way possess RNA binding properties. More broadly, arginine methylation has been implicated in a variety of cellular processes, including protein trafficking, signal transduction and transcriptional regulation.
