质量标准: | 【产品介绍】eIF-3E is the p48 subunit of the translational initiation factor eIF3. It forms a multi-factor complex with eIF1, eIF5, and the eIF2-GTP-Met-tRNA ternary complex that binds to the 40S ribosomal subunit to form the 43S preinitiation complex (PIC). eIF-3E also prevents the premature joining of the 60S ribosomal subunit until the start codon is recognized. In addition, eIF-3E plays a role in recruiting eIF4G-associated mRNAs to the 43S PIC to form the 48S PIC and initiate mRNA scanning (1).
